The Short Circuit Relay is intended for the protection of generators against damage caused by short circuits.

By the l max. logic circuit, the Relay measures the peak value of the highest current in three phases.

If the current exceeds the l resent value (2-10x lN), the output-relay will be activated and the breaker tripped.
