The SELCO Reverse Power Unit E4100 compares the current of one phase to the voltage between two other phases thus determining I x Cos Ø.

If this value becomes negative and higher than the preset percentage of the nominal current (2-20%) and the preset time is exceeded, relay A will latch.

Relay A is reset by interrupting the supply voltage to the complete unit.
