In many alarm and control systems it is required to offer alarm states as dry contacts in order to connect them to external monitoring systems.
This function is available with the H0400 MODBUS Relay Unit.
H0400 works as a master on the MODBUS. It contains 16 output relays. One of them is used as a common alarm relay; the others can be configured to indicate the status of any of the connected slave modules.
In connection with for example M1000 Alarm Monitor, M2000 Engine Controller, M3000 Analog Alarm Monitor, the output relays can be configured to indicate any of the alarm or LED states of the connected units.
The configuration is done through the built-in RS232 connection using any personal computer with an ANSI terminal application.
