When Comfort Matters

For super yachts special solutions are standard. Often cost and efficiency become a marginal aspect to a yacht owner’s wish.

For many years SELCO has successfully integrated our SIGMA system in many super yachts. Full protection is mandatory and i.e. blink during shore connection is unthinkable.

SELCO M8100 – Synchroscope with Dead-Bus Closure

The M8100 Synchroscope is available in a version with an optional Check Synchronizer Relay. When all synchronisation parameters are obtained, a circuit carries out automatic closing of the generator breaker.

SELCO now meets the request from many customers by introducing a Dead-Bus Closure function to the M8100 Synchroscope.

This function enables the check synchronizer relay to close the circuit breaker to the dead bus bar.

T8400 – The Safe Way of Clearing Black-outs!

The T8400 enables fast clearing of a blackout in a safe manner.

The great advantage of the T8400 Blackout Limiter is that it prevents 2 or more generators from connecting to the bus bar at the same time, thus protecting the installation from damage.

The T8400 will check one generator after the other for its voltage. The first generator found with a voltage higher than 90% of rated voltage will be connected to the bus bar.

It is possible to monitor up to 4 generators with 1 unit and up to 8 generators with 2 units.
